Apache Tomcat 5.5.36 Released

Yesterday, the Apache Tomcat team released Tomcat v5.5.36. Announced last year that support for Tomcat 5.5.x was ending, this release contains a little over 15 changes, improvements, and fixes. The end of life announcement anticipated there being one final release around the September 30th time frame, so this very well could be the last tomcat 5.5 release we'll ever see.

I suggest downloading a copy of the source, documentation, and binaries because, according to plan, these will no longer be available on the tomcat.apache.org site in early 2013. (Presumably though, they will be retired to The Apache Attic)

The changelog lists all that is new and changed and you can download source and binaries from a mirror near you.
