JBoss Application Server 7.1 Released

The JBoss Community app server team released version 7.1 today. One of the many news-worthy features in this release is a JEE6-certified Full Profile (JBoss AS 7.0 was JEE6 certified for the Web profile only). Other interesting features for ops folks in this release include updates to the management API, CLI, and Admin Console as well as clustering and security improvements. See the Release Notes for more information.

Keeping in mind that JBoss.org downloads come with no vendor support and may not be suitable for production deployment, head over to the downloads page in order to grab yourself a copy. A lot of what's included in the community version could end up in the next JBoss EAP release.
