Ant 1.7.1 Released

After 18 months in development (ok, maybe not but it sure sounds dramatic), Ant 1.7.1 was released.  The site says it was released June 28th but the release notification didn't get cut until July 9th.  Additional support for Java 6, bug fixes, and JavaFX support has been added as an external scripting language option.

Today, we're using ant as a transition tool with the intent of migrating to maven--which is a huge improvement for us because we essentially did nothing prior to implementing ant for builds.  Ant is building all of our environments right now--dumping binaries, injecting configuration values, that sort of thing.  Nothing fancy but I confess that it hasn't been something that I've spent a lot of time with yet.
